I’ve spent nearly a decade building data and AI platforms inside large organizations — and watched too many initiatives die in the gap between technology and adoption.

That deserves some context.

THE EXPERIENCE

CAE

Data & AI platform: catalog, metadata-driven pipelines, automated quality, SOC2 consumption on Databricks.

MTY FOOD GROUP

Platform Architect — architecture of the data and AI platform and related applications.

QUANTUMIZE AI

Co-founder. AI-native platforms that close the gap between strategic intent and execution.

POLYTECHNIQUE · PHYSICS ENGINEERING

B.Eng. in Physics Engineering. 8+ years in data, cloud, and AI platforms.

STACK

Kubernetes, Databricks, Azure, Terraform, Python, governance, and DataOps.

I’m Hugo Paquet — Platform Architect and co-founder of Quantumize AI, based in Montreal. The through-line: design data and AI platforms organizations can actually operate — not just demo.

At CAE, I led design and delivery of a new data management and governance platform. Catalog, acquisition, ingestion, quality, exploration — all anchored in metadata. The goal: accelerate product development without sacrificing compliance and control.

The stack is rarely the real blocker. Organizational absorption is.

As Technical Product Owner, I also owned the roadmap, prioritized capabilities, and supported teams — stand-ups, refinement, review, planning. Platform leadership is as much practice as design.

At MTY Food Group, I architected the data and AI platform for a multi-banner group. The challenge: make data actionable for the business at scale, not just available in a lake.

Earlier at CAE Rise, I built Python and C#/.NET microservices, near-real-time analytics, and Azure infrastructure — working alongside pilots and domain experts. Platforms make more sense close to the field.

Today, with Quantumize AI (quantumizeai.com), we’re building AI platforms that shrink the distance between what leadership intends and what the market demands.

What I offer: diagnostic, architecture, retainer support, and focused deliverables — for teams that need to scale data access, quality, and governance without losing control.

What I won’t do: sell a stack without an adoption plan, or a demo that doesn’t survive the first budget quarter.

Platforms that hold. Not projects that evaporate.
